Will The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 happen on Amazon?
Now that we’re through The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 2, it’s time to look ahead for Season 3. Will the third season happen on Amazon Prime Video?
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 2 was a strong season. Between throwbacks to the Catskills, touches on the ups and downs as life as a comic, and Abe’s development, we got a season of laughs. But it also left us with a cliffhanger and storylines open for a third season. Will The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 happen on Amazon Prime Video?
There’s some excellent news for those who haven’t heard or those who have forgotten. Amazon renewed the hot comedy series before the second season was released. So, all those questions you’ve got since the second season finale will likely be answered. I’m not going to say they definitely will, as the creators may just decide to hold off with some answers for a potential fourth season.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 hasn’t started filming just yet. It will begin in the spring. What does this mean for a drop date? Well, hopefully, we will still get a release in December. This will fit the previous two season releases. If it’s not December, it’s likely to be by February 2020 (I can’t believe we’re writing 2020 for show dates!) at the very latest.
An episode order hasn’t been confirmed. The first season only had eight episodes but the second season had 10. This longer season did work but I’ll admit that I’m one of those who likes shorter seasons. I grew up in Britain, where seasons are six to eight episodes long, so longer seasons have always felt a little too much.
As soon as we know more, we’ll bring it straight to Amazon Adviser. At least we know that there will definitely be a third season to see Midge on tour.
