Amazon is one of the brands to make it to the Fandom 250. Where exactly does it make the cut on the list?

Amazon fans everywhere should be celebrating. We’ve made it onto the FanSided’s Fandom 250 list. The list is the ultimate ranking of the 250 top fandoms for the year, from sports, celebrities, TV and movies, and everything in between.

Out of all 250 fan bases, Amazon ranked #159. This is excellent, considering there are only 12 brands in total. We also ranked ninth out of all the brands.

What does this mean for us as fans? It just means we’re vocal and passionate about everything Amazon. Whether it’s Prime Video, free two-day shipping, or even the Days of Deals promotion, we’re supportive of the whole brand. This is something that we want to see continue to expand and grow.

More from Amazon

The added 27 million Prime members this year (bringing U.S. subscribers alone to 90 million) certainly helped to put the brand on the list. Plus, it’s hard to overlook the 28 million Facebook followers compared to the 22 million Game of Thrones has. Amazon is also continually growing. There’s a world of potential that the brand has only just touched on.

While the fandom has dropped 73 places since last year, there’s still a lot to be positive about. After all, there have been some big movements overall in 2018. Supernatural, for example, jumped from #193 to #141!

Now eyes are on 2019. What can Amazon fans do to help push the ranking up. Well, it’s not really what the fans can do and more about what Amazon can do. It’s time to bring more Prime Originals to the Video service and expand the Prime benefits to more parts of the world.

Currently, Prime U.S. offers a great deal more value for money than other parts of the world and it’s time to expand. With the success of the likes of The Marvelous Mrs. MaiselJack Ryan, and Homecoming, there’s clearly a wish for more Originals.
