Can you believe that eight weeks ago Amazon Prime Video started streaming The Romanoffs Season 1? It did things a little differently to its other straight-to-service, worldwide Amazon Prime Originals. Instead of dropping all episodes at once, it stuck to the weekly installment.
It’s time for The Romanoffs Season 1 finale, which is now available through your Prime Video membership. It dropped at midnight GMT, which means some of you may have watched the episode late Thanksgiving Day evening.
The anthology series has had one thing in common: everyone is a descendant of the Russian royal family gunned down back in 1917. Well, they at least believe they’re descendants.

When the Mad Men creator promised us an anthology, he certainly delivered. Not only did each episode offer a different story with new actors, but each episode had a different feel to it. At first, there was a lightness to the comedy; almost stereotypical in nature. Then it started to get darker.
Last week’s episode was certainly one of the darkest, giving a stark view of adoption and Russia as a whole. But now it’s all about the finale, titled “The One That Holds Everything.”
During the episode, a man is going to try to escape his family curse. It’s clear that the Romanoffs are destined to live painful and difficult lives. They won’t always get the happiness they want, but does that mean they should sit back and just accept?
