9. Season 4: The One With Chandler in the Box
No Seven jokes here. Number nine on the list is the fourth season when Joey is moving out of the apartment he shares with Chandler over Chandler’s kiss with Kathy. In the end, the episode has a touching moment, but there are so many issues with it up to this point.

Quite honestly, my biggest issue is with Monica’s storyline. After injuring her eyes, she goes to the ophthalmologist, only to learn that the cute guy is ex-boyfriend Richard’s son. The two kissing at the end is just as uncomfortable as Monica feels about it, rather than it being funny.
Chandler is also missing for most of the episode because he’s in the box the whole time. He wants to prove that Joey should stay and that he’s a good friend. And this really is the best part of the episode. Their friendship has never changed over the years and this reminds us of that.
8. Season 7: The One Where Chandler Doesn’t Like Dogs
For years, the group has always believed that Chandler is allergic to dogs. In Friends Season 7’s Thanksgiving episode, they learn that’s not actually the case after Phoebe sneaks a dog into her room. Sure enough, Chandler doesn’t react.
It turns out that Chandler is just afraid of dogs. It’s easy to see why he’d say he’s allergic to save face, but the overall episode focused on this really isn’t as much fun as it could be.
What it does offer is a bit more character development for Chandler, who often felt left out in the earlier seasons.
