Right now you can buy The Purge Season 1 episodes on Amazon. Will the season ever be available on Amazon Prime Video U.S. for free?
When you look at USA Network programming, most of it eventually comes to Amazon Prime Video U.S. as part of your Prime membership. You don’t have to pay extra to view, so it’s understandable that fans of The Purge Season 1 want to know if it will ever be available in the same way.
Right now, you can buy the individual episodes or get a full season pass. When you get them, they will always be available in your library as long as Amazon is still available. But not everyone wants to pay $2.99 per episode, right?
Those in Canada, the UK, and other parts of the world can watch the show for free through their Prime membership. And we know that other USA Network shows, like Suits and Mr. Robot, eventually become available. Is this going to be the case for the TV series set in the Purge world?

It’s hard to say. There’s no concrete evidence to suggest yes or no to this question. With other USA Network shows heading to Prime Video, it’s highly likely that it will. We’ll probably see it drop sometime next year. In fact, there are chances that it will drop just ahead of the second season premiering, give you a chance to catch up before the new season.
However, not everything is made available through Amazon Prime Video. USA’s Colony has never made it to the full subscription as it goes to Netflix instead. Fans have to purchase it on Amazon if they want to watch. The Purge could go the same way.
