Will The Haunting of Hill House come to Amazon Prime Video?
For the last week, viewers have raved about The Haunting of Hill House. It’s certainly a horror series to watch, but will it be available on Amazon Prime Video in the future?
The Haunting of Hill House is most certainly the horror of the year. Gaining raving reviews over the course of the last week, it’s one of those shows that will leave an imprint on your mind. This is also one of those shows that you’ll see something different with each rewatch–look out for all the ghosts just standing in various parts of the house. But can you watch The Haunting of Hill House on Amazon Prime Video?
Unfortunately, not. This is only available on Netflix. It’s a Netflix Original worldwide, which means this is the only streaming service you’ll be able to get it on. Think of it like Amazon Originals, like The Man in the High Castle, that don’t make it elsewhere.

You can sign up to Netflix for a free trial and binge the series if you want. If you know you’re not going to want Netflix again in the future, I’d highly recommend doing this. However, I’m one of those that has the subscription to multiple services, including Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Will The Haunting of Hill House ever come to Amazon Prime Video? I wouldn’t count on it. Unless something changes between Netflix and Amazon and they combine for some sort of reason, the Originals are going to stay on their own respective services.
For those who haven’t heard about it, The Haunting of Hill House, tells the tale of a family of seven. We’re taken through two timelines: one when the five siblings are just children and one when they’re adults. Everything centers around their mom’s death and the events that happened in that house when they were just children. If you want something to watch this Halloween, I highly recommend it.
