The Expanse Season 3 coming to Amazon Prime Video in November
After Amazon saved The Expanse, fans have wanted to know when the third season would finally make it to the streaming service. There’s not much longer to wait for The Expanse Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video.
The Expanse fans rejoiced hearing that Amazon Prime Video had saved the series after SYFY canceled it. Now what fans really needed to know was when all the current seasons would be available on Amazon. It’s been a short wait, but The Expanse Season 3 is finally making it to Amazon Prime Video next month.
There isn’t too long to wait for the season to drop. You’ll get it all on Nov. 15, 2018. This is much earlier than the second season dropped on the service, which was only the February just gone. The earlier drop likely has a lot to do with Amazon saving the series. It will now have the rights to it.

Amazon had already had an agreement with SYFY for the series (along with other SYFY shows and USA shows) to put the full season on Amazon Prime for all Prime members. So, it wasn’t a surprise the third season was coming even without saving the show. It’s just awesome to get it much sooner.

What about The Expanse Season 4? There isn’t much that we know about the series just yet. It will likely drop a full season as most other Prime Originals, and the cast and crew are currently in the middle of filming. The plan currently is for it to drop sometime next year and just recently, there was some behind-the-scenes footage.
It’s still too early to get a trailer, so we’ll just have to wait patiently for now. I know, it’s not easy!
Update Nov. 2: Amazon has recently got in touch to say that there was a mistake with the November listings and The Expanse Season 3 will NOT be available this month. An alternate date for release wasn’t shared.
