When will Agatha Raisin Season 2 premiere on Acorn TV?

Agatha Raisin is back with a second season. Here’s all you need to know about watching it on Acorn TV, which you can get through Amazon Channels.

If you’re an Amazon Prime fan, you’ll know there’s the opportunity to add on various Amazon Channels. Acorn TV is one of them, which brings Agatha Raisin Season 2 to screens next month. Here’s all you need to know about the series.

The first episode is titled “Agatha Raisin and the Wizard of Evesham,” which sees Agatha return from Cyprus in the need of a pick-me-up. She decides to head to a salon to get her hair done, where a murderer strikes. Putting her own life in danger, she goes on the hunt for the mystery killer, who could be a customer of the to-die-for wizard, Mr. John.

Roy, Sarah, Detective Constable Bill Wong, and Gemma all return to the new season, ready to help Agatha in any way she needs (sometimes without realizing she needs it).

Agatha Raisin Season 2 premieres on Nov. 19 with a 90-minute episode. She’ll then return for another 90-minute episode titled “Fairies of Fryfam” on Dec. 24 and finally for “The Curious Curate” in late January next year.

This is working slightly different to last year when the pilot was 90 minutes and then the rest of the eight episodes were 40-45 minutes long. There’s more of a feel of Sherlock Holmes to this season with the shorter order but longer episodes. It’s like a TV movie.

You can watch the second season on Acorn TV, which is available direct or through Amazon Channels. While there are some limitations to Amazon Channels, the benefit is that all your payments are together from the one company and you still get access to the full slate of content at the same time as direct customers.
