Congratulations to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for Emmy wins
The 70th Emmy Awards are still taking place but the Comedy Series awards have been decided. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel walked away with four of the major awards.
We all know just how amazing The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is. As Amazon Prime fans, we know that this is one of the best comedy series on TV right now. However, there are a lot of people who haven’t heard of it.
In fact, I’ll be honest and same I’m late to the game. I found out about it because of the award nominations and very quickly checked it out. Hooked from the first minute, this is a series with excellent writing, directing, and actors. And it seems that the 70th Emmy Awards show agrees.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has walked away with four awards from the major Comedy Series awards. Rachel Brosnahan and Alex Borstein walked away with their awards for Outstanding Lead Actress and Outstanding Supporting Actress, both extremely well-deserved.
Brosnahan’s thank you speech reminded women that this is a show that is about a woman finding her voice. Now is a time for more women finding their voices and she encouraged everyone to register to vote.
Meanwhile, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel creator, writer, and director Amy Sherman-Palladino took to the stage twice for awards. She won the awards for Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Directing.

At the time of writing this, there are still awards to be determined. There’s a chance that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel could walk away with more tonight, but right now we just want to say congratulations to the women of the show. The nominations themselves were excellent for a first season series, making it clear that Prime Originals are on the map. The wins are, as the Emmys state, “outstanding.”
