Will NCIS Season 16 be on Amazon Prime Video?

We’re getting to that time of year when we start planning our TV viewing. Amazon Prime Video offers the opportunity to catch a lot of TV without the cord, but is NCIS Season 16 one of those shows?

Amazon Prime Video makes it possible to cut the cord. You can watch your favorite shows. Sometimes you get to stream live and other times you’re watching the next day. There are times you’ll get it through Prime Video for free and other times you need to pay a little each episode. What about NCIS Season 16?

As we start to get closer to the fall dates, many are looking for ways to catch their favorite shows live through the internet. Is NCIS Season 16 one of those they can watch through Amazon?

The answer is yes and no. You can watch through Amazon, but it will be through your Amazon Channels subscription. It is only possible through CBS All Access, which was added as an Amazon Channels option earlier this year. Last month, the $5.99 per month option was added. This will have limited ads, but it offers all the same content as the more expensive, ad-free option.

CBS All Access offers full access to the episodes as soon as they air. In some cases, you can even stream live. You’ll be able to watch on all compatible devices and you’ll have access to all 15 previous seasons to watch when you want.

Amazon Prime Video also offers you the chance to purchase the episodes when they air. They’re available the next day and you can get them for $2.99 each. You can also buy the Season Pass, so you get all episodes as soon as they’re available. You don’t need Amazon Channels for this, but if you’re going to watch a full season you’ll be better with the CBS All Access subscription, especially if you watch other CBS shows!

NCIS Season 16 is the first season without Pauley Perrette as Abby Scuito. It’s also going to be the first episode with Diona Reasonover in the role of Kasie, who will take over Abby’s position and was introduced as a recurring guest star last season.

Gibbs finds himself as the acting director, after Vance was captured at the end of last season. Season 16, Episode 1 picks up a month after the events of the previous finale.
