CBS All Access has One Dollar Season 1

The next drop of the week is on Thursday and it’s all about the CBS All Access Amazon Channels subscription. This is the subscription that recently offered the lower-priced plan. While it has limited ads, it’s going to be more budget friendly for many.

You’ll be able to catch One Dollar which premieres its first season on Aug. 30.  A small rust-belt town in post-recession America is thrown into turmoil when a mystery appears. Just a single one-dollar bill connects a group of characters who would otherwise never meet and the cultural divides among the town are made deeper.

Those who love mysteries will certainly enjoy this just based on the promo below.

Acorn TV brings A Place to Call Home

August 31 will see the U.S. release of A Place to Call Home Season 6. The period drama is known as Australia’s Downton Abbey and stars Craig Hall, Sara Wiseman, David Berry and more. We’ve watched the twists and turns over the years and now it’s time to say goodbye.

Yes, this is the sixth and final season of the drama. When the show started production, the announcement came that it would be the end. At least we know the story should be fully wrapped.

You can get Acorn TV through Amazon Channels.

If you love unscripted shows, Billy the Exterminator Season 1 will also be available on Aug. 31. Visit Louisiana, where Billy Bretherton runs a pest-control business. While there are plenty of others, Billy is willing to take on any type of animal out there, including the giant snakes. Tori Spelling fans will be happy, as True Tori Seasons 1 and 2 will also be available on Amazon Prime Video. It’s a very public look at the marriage of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, showcasing the highs and the lows. The original episodes aired just weeks after episodes aired, giving them a further sense of reality.

And I can’t hold back any longer. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan starring John Krasinski and Wendell Pierce will drop its very first season. This is one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year, especially when it comes to streaming. The first trailer dropped at the Super Bowl and we’re only just getting the series now.

There’s been plenty of promotional footage over the last month. Now it’s finally time to see if it can really live up to the hype.
