Amazon books: Most read books of June- Week 2

Amazon has announced the most read Amazon books of the second week of June (June 4 to June 11) including The Handmaid’s Tale, the Harry Potter book series, and Camino Island.

Amazon recently started Amazon Charts, a new way of finding the top 20 most popular books on Amazon. Thanks to Amazon Charts, we have shared the most read books of June (4-11) including the Harry Potter books, Camino Island, and The Handmaid’s Tale.

Most of the books on this list have been made more popular by movies and TV shows based on the works.

The Handmaid’s Tale, published in 1986, is the most read Amazon book of the week, and that’s not surprising in the least. A Hulu original series based on The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood just finished its first season on the streaming service. If you are looking for a new show or book to read, The Handmaid’s Tale is the most popular around.

Lower down on the list, American Gods, which is the source material for a new Starz series, is the no.5 most read book of the week, according to the charts. You’ll also find Big Little Lies, which gained popularity because of a new HBO series, is also one of the most read books of the week.

A Man Called Ove, which was the subject of a 2016 film of the same name, and Stephen King’s It are at the bottom of the list. A remake of the film It is set to hit theaters this summer!

The most surprising books on the list were released a long time ago, but they remain some of the most popular books in the world. Of course, I’m talking about the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. Of the 20 most read Amazon books, six of them were Harry Potter books. Only Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was not in the top 20 list.

Camino Island, John Grisham’s new books, is the most recently published book on the list. The book was released on June 6.
