When will Mr. Robot Season 3 be on USA and Amazon Prime Video?

Mr. Robot wraps up its second season on September 21, 2016. With the season coming to an end, many fans of the series are wondering when exactly they will be able to watch Mr. Robot Season 3!

At the time of publishing, USA has not announced the Mr. Robot Season 3 release date yet. Luckily for you, we have a pretty good idea when the new season should premiere on USA and later be added to Amazon Prime Video.

Typically, we would anticipate Mr. Robot would be back for the summer of 2017. The first two seasons premiered in the summer, so it seems like the third season would return in the summer, as well.

With that said, Sam Esmail, the creator of the series, is not ready to jump back into production to get the new season prepped and filmed for a summer 2017 release. Apparently, Esmail would like to take a bit of a longer break between the second and third season. Here’s what he told Entertainment Weekly about the scheduling, via EW:

"“Personally, I think this is another weird, archaic judgment on television shows, where you have to bring them back at a certain schedule or you’re going to lose your audience,” Esmail said. “I’m just going to say this: I think it’s bulls—, especially at the cost of the quality of the show.”"

Right now, we think it is more likely that Mr. Robot Season 3 premieres in the fall or late fall of 2017 on USA. That’s our prediction right now. We’ll be sure to let you know more when we find out about the third season premiere of Mr. Robot.
