American Rust Season 2 and more coming to Prime Video this week (March 25–31)

Another week is here. This one is the last week of March 2024, and Prime Video is not disappointing when it comes to new content.

Can you believe we’re at the end of March already? This year is already flying by. For some, that probably isn’t a bad thing. We’re closer to the nice weather and beach days.

Of course, the end of the month tends to be the quieter parts of the month. March is very different. Prime Video has some great content, old and new, to look forward to.

American Rust: Broken Justice, Battle Royale, and more

If you were a fan of American Rust Season 1, you will have been disappointed when Showtime canceled it. Well, then Amazon saved the series, and we finally get to see the next part of the story. Jeff Daniels, Mark Pellegrino, and more are back to continue this family drama that captures out hearts and gives us real, deep characters.

The entire second season, which is called American Rust: Broken Justice, will drop at once on Thursday, March 28. You won’t need to wait long for the episodes.

What about a movie from the past? There are a few that will arrive this week, but one of the notable ones is Battle Royale. This 2001 dystopian future movie set the tone for a lot of dystopian stories. It even feels like the inspiration for The Hunger Games. It follows a class of Japanese high school students who are supposed to head out on a field trip. Instead, they are taken to a remote island where they are forced to kill each other. Only one can survive.

When it comes to a movie for the whole family, Minions: The Rise of Gru is a must-watch. This one is self-explanatory from the title. Didn’t all kids want to know how Gru started out to become the villain-turned-hero? How did he end up befriending the Minions and getting them to work for him?
