Abigail and more coming to DVD and Digital next week (May 7)
Abigail has only just come out in theaters, but it already has a digital release date. We don’t have to wait too long, and it’s the biggest DVD and Digital release on Tuesday, May 7.
The start of the month is a little quiet when it comes to DVD and Digital releases. In fact, the list of releases on Digital are some of the most anticipated movies, with them only just recently coming out in theaters.
You just need to decide whether you want action or horror. One of those promises a lot of laughs, while the other is going to make you question children again. Children are not safe. All horror movies tell us that!
Abigail, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and more
The first release is Abigail. This horror movie earns it’s R-rating with the gore, and it’s going to remind you not to trust children, especially in a horror movie setting. The titular character is the daughter of Count Dracula. When a group of people decide to kidnap her and hold her for ransom, she decides to turn the tables on them. Can they survive the night?
For those more in the mood for an action comedy, Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is already coming to Digital. This release is happening on Friday, May 10, though. The movie is based on an absurd true story. Sometimes you’ll wonder what the British government didn’t do to win World War II.
There is a romance for those who want something in that genre. This one is heading to DVD and Blu-ray. It’s all about The Taste of Things, which follows Dodin Bouffant, a chef living with his personal cook Eugenie. Eugenie is also his lover, but she refuses to marry him. So, what does he decide to do? Cook for her. Could that change her mind?
