When should The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare come to DVD and Blu-ray?
Are you ready for a fun and crazy look at a true story from World War II? The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is out in theaters right now.
This movie from Guy Ritchie tells the story of a team put together to head behind enemy lines using any skills and tools necessary. Of course, when you put some of the craziest people together, you end up with a rather crazy story to tell.
Henry Cavill stars as Gus March-Phillipps, who is likely the maddest of the lot and is the one in charge of putting the team together. The trailer gives us a great look at what to expect without completely giving away the movie. This is certainly one for a trip to the theaters.
And then you’ll want to get the movie on DVD and Blu-ray to watch at home. When is that going to be possible.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare potential DVD release date
As the movie is only just out in theaters, it means we don’t have a DVD release date just yet. That’s pretty normal, but we can look at the production studio to get an idea of how long we’ll likely need to wait. We’re looking at a couple of Lionsgate movies from 2023, Saw X and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
It only took two months for Saw X to go from theaters to DVD, but it took three months for The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. We’re still waiting on a release date for Miller’s Girl, which was released earlier this year. That does suggest that Lionsgate is looking at moving back to a 90-day exclusivity window for theaters.
With that in mind, we’re looking at the summer for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare to come to DVD and Blu-ray. We could be looking at around Tuesday, July 16 or Tuesday, July 23 for this movie to come out to buy.
What about on Digital? That’s usually a little earlier than the DVD release. We could see this available within a month of the theatrical release, so we’re looking at around Tuesday, May 14 or Tuesday, May 21 for this Digital release.
