Challengers and more coming to DVD and Digital this week (July 9)

Do you want more Zendaya in your life? Maybe you just want to add the latest horror movie to your DVD collection. There is some great news when it comes to the DVD and Digital releases for the week.

After a quiet start to July, the second week is shaping up to be full of choice. There are 11 titles set for a DVD release on Tuesday, July 9 (at the time of writing this) and six titles set for a Digital release on the same day.

Challengers, Tarot, The Garfield Movie, and more

Let’s start with those who want more Zendaya. She starred in Challengers earlier this year. It’s more than just another tennis movie, as Zendaya plays a tennis coach who gets caught in a potential love triangle. When her pro tennis-player husband struggles with a string of defeats, she signs him up for a “Challengers” tournament. He ends up going up against her ex-boyfriend and best friend in the games.

For those who prefer horror movies, there are a couple of DVD releases happening. Abigail is one of them, which tells the story of a group of people who think it’s a good idea to kidnap a pre-teen girl. Well, it turns out that pre-teen girl is far more dangerous than they initially expected.

The other horror movie to get is Tarot. You know that you should stay away from Ouija boards, but now there is a movie to get you to rethink your love of tarot cards. What happens when the tarot readings become deadly fates?

How about something for the whole family? The Garfield Movie is the release of the week. This one is on Digital, which isn’t surprising considering the movie only just recently came out in theaters. It is the story of the lasagna-loving cat, who ends up on a crazy adventure when he meets his father.
