Alex Cross is about to live rent-free in all our heads. The Cross teaser trailer is out, giving us the first look at the series we have all been waiting for.

Based on the novel series by James Patterson, the series will star Aldis Hodge in the titular role. He’s a detective, who is willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of the bad guys. And yes, he will get into their heads to encourage them to confess to their crimes.

When at home, he’s a doting father, but he does have a problem with his obsession for catching the bad guys. That’s especially the case when it comes to finding the guy who murdered his wife. He will stop at nothing for answers and justice, and that could end up destroying him.

Cross teaser gives us a hint of what to expect

If you haven’t read the novels before, you’ll want to get to know the character. The teaser offers a great look at who Alex is and the way he knows he can get inside the minds of killers. We also get a look at who he is when at home.

It’s just a brief look. This is just a teaser, and we don’t have a premiere date yet. There is some hope that we’ll get to see the series before the end of 2024 with the teaser already out.

Who will star in the first season?

The teaser also gives us a look at some of the guest stars. There’s a bit of a Supernatural reunion, although the two actors didn’t actually share any screen time. Alona Tal will be in the first season. She played Jo in Supernatural, who first appeared in Season 2 just like Hodge, who played Jake in the final two episodes of Season 2.

Ryan Eggold has dyed his hair blond for this series, and it looks like he could end up playing the villain. We’ll also see Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Eloise Mumford, Johnny Ray Gill. Jennifer Wigmore, and Samanta Walkes.

There is even an Amazon connection. Melody Hurd from THEM comes into the series. Caleb Elijah is the other child actor prominent in the series.

Yes, Cross Season 2 is officially happening

There are no details to share just yet. After all, we haven’t got to see the first season yet!
