There have been many reboots of horror movies over the years. Suspiria got its reboot last year, with Amazon Studios producing it. It’s natural that since it’s a Prime movie it needs to end up on the list of 50 best movies on Prime. After all, it’s not going anywhere!

However, that’s not the only reason it’s on the list. Suspiria helped to introduce a new generation to the original movie as well as the world to the remake. It keeps the same chilling aspects of the dance company and the forgotten underground network, bringing out witchcraft and evil doings. However, it added its own flair and dramatics.

Johnson got the chance to step out of her role of Anastasia in the Fifty Shades trilogy, while Chloë Grace Moretz got the chance to show off her skills in more adult production than The Fifth Wave. Tilda Swinton naturally stole the show, though. When doesn’t she?

Suspiria holds a 66% Tomatometer reading and a 68% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It also has “Generally Favorable Reviews” on Metacritic.
