There are certain movies you just have to watch, and Seberg is one of them. Despite the negative reviews from the critics for the superficial story, this is an excellent movie to see just how great an actress Kristen Stewart is. Get all thoughts of Twilight out of your mind.

This political thriller is based on a true story, and one that will make you think twice about the FBI (if you don’t already question things already). Based on the list of Jean Seberg, it focuses on how she became the target for the FBI due to her connections to Black Panther member Hakim Jamal.

It’s soon clear that Seberg is a threat, so the FBI taps her phone and follows her. Naturally, Seberg starts to realize that her conversations aren’t private but nobody will give her the truth; nobody will believe her. It starts a downward spiral that would eventually take over her thoughts and her life. It doesn’t help that the FBI has other ways to smear Seberg’s name in hope of making her lose her influence.

This is a must-watch movie. Sure, it’s not perfect but that doesn’t stop it from being great. And it’s not leaving Amazon Prime Video as it’s an Amazon Original.
