The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 is not coming in October 2022
We’re ready to see what’s next for Belly now that she’s made her choice. When will we get to see The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 on Prime Video?
At the end of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 1, Belly made her choice. However, there was more to deal with. Conrad and Jeremiah’s mom is dying of cancer, and she’s decided not to seek treatment. That is until the brothers talked to her about the trial and encouraged her to fight for them.
This seems to be a change to the books. Of course, we’ll need to wait to see how things change in Season 2. Will Susannah still be part of the story? We’ll need The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 to see how it all plays out, but that’s not happening just yet. The series is not on the list of new releases on Prime Video in October 2022.
When will The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 come to Prime Video?
Just how long will we need to wait? It’s hard to say right now, but we’re looking at June 2023. It makes sense to keep this show in the summer considering the title.
While most shows take around 14 months at a minimum, there are some Amazon shows that only take 12 months. This is one of those shows that could reduce its wait time to 12 months, allowing a June 2023 release date. If things were pushed just a little, July or early August would work.
It’s going to be interesting to see how things work for the second season. In the book, Conrad isn’t really there. Susannah has died and Conrad has taken off. Belly no longer looks forward to summer, but her story is focused on finding Conrad for Jeremiah’s sake. Is that the way the TV series will work the story considering the way shows work with casting and actor contracts?
