Hunters Season 2 is not coming in August 2022

There are a few shows we’ve waited far too long for. Hunters Season 2 is one of those on the list, and the wait for it still continues.

When Hunters initially premiered, it was met with mixed reviews. That may have been part of the reason for such a delayed decision in the renewal. It aired in February 2020, but wasn’t officially renewed until August 2020. By that point, we had thought it had been quietly cancelled.

The delayed renewal and the pandemic have caused problems for the series. It meant a delay to filming, which is also having a knock-on effect for the release date. What we know right now is that Hunters Season 2 is not going to arrive in August 2022. It’s nowhere on the list of releases, and we’re getting a little impatient.

When will Hunters Season 2 come to Prime Video?

The last we heard anything about the series was from TVLine, which reported there was no news to share. Prime Video does not have a release date for the new season. We can’t even figure out when it could premiere because we have no idea where in the filming process it is.

We know the American leg of the series is complete. Then the actors were heading to Europe for the rest of filming, but it wasn’t clear how long that process would take. After that, we have post-production.

I’m concerned about the future of the series in the same way I’m concerned about Carnival Row. The long wait for the two shows isn’t good, especially when there’s minimal promotion and news about them between the seasons. It’s going to be hard to get all the Season 1 viewers back who were interested in seeing where the story would go. Prime Video will need to do a lot of promotional work to make sure the fans know about it.
