Who will Robbie Amell play in The Witcher Season 3?
We are certainly ready to see Robbie Amell return as Nathan in Upload Season 3. Before that happens, he’s going to be in The Witcher Season 3.
We wish that The Witcher Season 3 was on Prime Video. It would be great to keep Robbie Amell in one place when it comes to streaming platforms. Sadly, we’ll need to turn to Netflix very soon as Amell has landed a role in the fantasy series.
What does this mean for Upload? Nothing right now. Prime Video hasn’t even renewed Upload just yet, but writing is happening. There’s time for the actors to do other projects right now, and that’s where Amell is at with The Witcher Season 3.
Who is Robbie Amell in The Witcher Season 3?
Netflix announced the casting for the third season in a press release. Amell’s name was the first on the list of new cast members joining the series, and he will play a character called Gallatin.
Gallatin is described as the leader of a guerrilla army called Scoia’tael. The army fights on behalf of Nilfgaard, and Gallatin is loyal to the cause that he is connected to. This could get him in trouble, but he is not a man afraid to speak his truth.
However, Gallatin is also loyal to the people fighting for him. He will do what’s best for them, and this ends up with him on a collision course with Francesca over the power of Nilfgaard and more.
We are certainly ready to see a very different side to Amell compared to Nathan in Upload. Not only do we see a fighter instead of a coder, but we also get to see him take on a role set in a fantasy world in a period fashion rather than the digital afterlife.
