Amazon Prime Video is treating us to another surprise Grand Tour special. Just like the Scotland special, Amazon didn’t announce the release of the new episode in the full listings for the month and has just added it to its press site as a surprise.

The Grand Tour Presents: Carnage a Trois is another special filmed during lockdown in the UK. It starts in Wales and will see the trio head to the English Channel and across to France. This is a chance for them to bring us into the crazy world of French car culture.

What time can we expect the new special? This is a global original, so the official release time is at midnight GMT on Friday, Dec. 17.

There is some great news when it comes to the global originals. We tend to get them on the earlier side in North America, with the potential for the special to drop at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 16.

There isn’t any guarantee of the earlier drop, but it happens regularly. We’ve seen it recently with the likes of The Wheel of Time, Hanna Season 3, and The Expanse Season 6. There’s no reason to think that it won’t happen here.
