The Boys Season 3 is not coming to Amazon in November 2021

It’s almost time for another new month, and that means new content on Amazon Prime Video. It does not mean episodes of The Boys Season 3.

We’ve double-checked the list of new arrivals on Amazon Prime Video in November 2021, but the show isn’t there. We’re still waiting a little longer for The Boys Season 3.

If we’re completely honest, we didn’t expect the show to arrive next month. If it was going to arrive, the show would have had a big promotional event during NYCC 2021. There’s no doubt the premiere date would have been known for a while now.

The Boys Season 3 premiere date predictions

The show has only just finished filming. That means it’s now going into post-production, and that takes time. There was a chance that this stage was going to be delayed due to upcoming strike action, but the strike action has been avoided for the time being.

As long as everything runs smoothly, we’re probably looking at around six months of post-production work. That means we’re looking at around March 2022 as the release date for The Boys Season 3.

That’s not too bad! It is longer than we’d like, but we have to remember that there were major delays to filming due to the pandemic. Plus, 18 months after the release of the second season is still within a standard timeframe for Amazon shows.

This is a series that is likely to get a weekly release format. We’ll likely see the first three episodes drop at once and then the rest of the season air weekly. This was something Eric Kripke and his team wanted for the second season because of all the hard work that goes into a show. He doesn’t like the binge-watch format, so he’ll likely ask for the same again.

Since the second season was the most-watched show on Amazon, there’s no doubt that Amazon will agree to the hybrid model. After all, more and more shows are getting it now including The Expanse, Invincible, and The Wheel of Time.
