Death on the Nile isn’t a new book, but it is new on the list of most sold Amazon books

It’s hard to imagine that a book that is decades old could only just land on the list of most sold Amazon books of the week, but that’s what has happened. Here’s a look at the list of most sold books from Oct. 25 to 31.

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie entered in fourth place. It’s the first time the book has made it to the list, and it’s highly likely linked to the fact that it’s going to be a motion picture soon Gal Gadot and Armie Hammer are attached to the sequel to Murder on the Orient Express. People are getting ready for the release by reading the book.

More from Amazon Books

This wasn’t the only new book on the list. The newest Diary of a Wimpy Kid graphic novel has entered in fifth place. This book is titled The Deep End and sees Greg and his family head out on a road trip. Things take an unexpected turn when they end up stranded at an RV park.

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s newest novel Happily Letter After also made it high on the list of most sold Amazon books. It entered in sixth place.

While there were many new arrivals, there was also a lot of movement elsewhere. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab gained four places, while Fredrik Backman’s Anxious People moved up five places to get into the Top 10.

If Animals Kissed Good Night by Ann Whitford Paul lost the most places this week, dropping 13 spots to 19th place. Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man: Grime and Punishment lost 10 places.
