Room on the Broom moved up the list of most sold Amazon books last week

We’re into a new week, so it’s time to see what’s selling on Amazon right now. Children’s books were on the move this week on the list of most sold Amazon books.

Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson gained four places last week, getting into second place on the list. The only book ahead of it was John Grisham’s newest novel A Time for Mercy.

It wasn’t the only children’s book to move up the list, though. Dog Man: Grime and Punishment by Dav Pilkey moved back up the list. It gained 15 spots, the most out of all books on the list, to get into fourth place. In sixth place, I Animals Kissed Good Night by Ann Whitford Paul reentered the list.

It was a good week for many other books on the list. The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett took the second-best mover prize, gaining eight places to get back into the Top 12. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens gained six places to get into 11th place. Meanwhile, The Guest List by Lucy Foley got back into the Top 10. Things feel a little like they should.

The biggest mover down this week was The Tower of Nero by Rick Riordan. It lost 11 places, dropping into 19th place.

Then there are the other new books on the list. Two made it this week, with Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia entering in 16th place. It deserves to move up during the week, and it’s about time it caught the attention of the public. The Last Flight by Julie Clark entered in 20th place, so we’ll have to see how that does this week.
