New releases on Amazon Prime Video from Oct. 19 to 23

It’s that time of the week where we look forward to the new releases. While things are quieter than the last two weeks, there is certainly plenty to watch on Amazon Prime Video this week.

Oct. 19 to 23 sees the release of three additions. One of those is a series and another is a movie sequel we had no idea we were getting until recently.

What can we stream this week on Amazon Prime Video?

Oct. 21 releases

There’s one movie heading our way on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Cyrano, My Love is the 2018 movie also known as Edmund. Set in Paris in 1897, it follows Edmond Rostand who has two children, plenty of anxieties, but hasn’t written anything in two years. The playwright offers Constant Coquelin a new play for the holidays, but he’s not even started writing! Can he create a piece when nobody believes in him?

More from Amazon

On Friday, Oct. 23, there are two new releases on Amazon Prime Video. The first is one we knew about when the list of TV shows and movies coming to Prime in October 2020 was released. The second was announced shortly after.

Mirzapur Season 2 is finally heading our way. Over the course of nine episodes, we’ll watch as Guddu goes out to gain revenge on the Tripathi family. Golu will join Guddu in the fight against Munna and Kaleen after Munna killed Sweety and Bablu.

The second release to look forward to is Borat 2, also known as Borat the Sequel. The trailer makes it clear that it’s just as wacky as the first, with some terrible (but funny) jokes. This time, the story involves a look at the coronavirus as Borat brings his daughter to the United States.
