We’re at the point we’ve waited all season for. It’s the finale, which means answers. Well, that’s what we hope! Don’t miss the Lovecraft Country Season 1 finale tonight.
This is a bittersweet episode. While I look forward to it for answers, it means I’ve got no more of the series to look forward to each week. At least, for the time being. There’s no word on Season 2 just yet, but I’m sure it will happen.
For now, let’s just focus on the Lovecraft Country Season 1 finale. What should we expect?
It’s time to come full circle
The title of the episode seems to hint that we’re going back to where we started. “Full Circle” suggests that we’ll head back to the manor that burned and fell, the night that Uncle George died.

We’re getting back to the start of Tic finding out about his family in the first place; that search for the book that is connected to him through his mother’s ancestors. It also all goes back to Christina’s wish for immortality, which means killing Tic.
Everyone—mostly everyone—is working against Christina to save Tic. Montrose isn’t going to let his son die. Leti isn’t ready to say goodbye, especially not when she’s carrying Tic’s child. It looks like there are some baptisms and dangerous adventures in an effort to save him from whatever Christina has in store.
Will it all be in vain? Which side will Ruby be on in the end? What is the last secret Tic says that he has? We’ll get to find out in a few short hours.
