9 titles coming to Amazon Prime Video this week [Oct. 5-9]

We’re into the first full week of October, and there’s plenty to look forward to. Nine new titles are joining Amazon Prime Video this week.
There are some notable mentions. The first is The Boys Season 2 finale. Fans have waited since Sept. 4 for the finale to air. There have certainly been some complaints about the creators’ decisions to air the show weekly, but this weekly format has really worked for the amount of action and storylines happening throughout the second season.
As of Oct. 9, you’ll be able to binge-watch all eight episodes of the second season. Plus, you can watch the latest episode of Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys, which has been an excellent after-show to breakdown everything that’s happened on the screen.
Welcome to Blumnhouse begins
Something that we’ve looked forward to has been the Welcome to Blumnhouse movies. Amazon Prime Video is getting four top horror movies throughout October, and the first two will drop this week.

The Lie stars Mireille Enos and Peter Sarsgaard as parents who are willing to do everything they can to protect their daughter, played by Joey King. They’re even willing to cover up the fact that their daughter killed her best friend.
Mamoudou Athie and Phylicia Rashad star in Black Box, the second of the movies. In this one, a man goes through experimental treatment to help with his memory loss after a car crash that killed his wife. However, he may get more than he bargained for.
