For Ruby, she’s getting to work as a white woman. That’s all she’s ever wanted, with her big goal being to work in a department store. It’s clear the Braithwaites had something to do with the Black woman being hired in the first place. The Braithwaites wanted Ruby on their side, and this was the way to do it.

What does this mean moving forward? What price will Ruby have to pay now that she’s made this deal?

Meanwhile, Montrose has a lot to answer for. We last saw him kill in cold blood. Is he just protecting Tic or is he under strict orders from the Braithwaites? Something has always felt iffy about Montrose’s storyline. He just happened to do his Great Escape as soon as Tic, Leti, and George got to the mansion? Convenient, much?

Tic isn’t going to be happy. In fact, all that pent up anger he has right now is going to get worse. Leti is about to see a side to her potential beau before they even get a chance to talk about that kiss in the elevator.
