8 DVD and Blu-ray releases happening this week: Sept. 15

Outlander Season 5 is one of the eight DVD and Blu-ray releases this week

September has already proven great for DVD and Blu-ray releases. Now it’s time for another strong week.

There are eight DVD and Blu-ray releases happening. The majority of them are TV shows again, with various premium cable networks releasing full seasons of their hit shows. However, there are a few movies you’ll want to pay close attention to.

The top DVD and Blu-ray releases on Sept. 15

You won’t want to buy all eight DVD and Blu-ray releases on the day. It’s important to cut down to just the best. There are a few notable mentions this week.

Outlander Season 5 is at the top of the list for many. This season sees the whole Fraser-MacKenzie family together. This doesn’t mean it’s all sunshine and rainbows. After an extra special wedding, we’ll get into the War of the Regulators, which leads to some heartbreak. The season followed mostly The Fiery Cross but did pick some storylines from A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

Killing Eve Season 3 is another top release to look out for. Picking up months after the Season 2 finale, we see Eve trying to live a civilian life. Of course, that means she’ll eventually get pulled back into spy work with Villainette out there.

As for movies, Weathering with You is an excellent anime to buy. Hodaka Morishima moves to Tokyo after running away from home. Along the adventure, he’s faced with an overabundance of rain, leading to the research of the urban legends connected to that rainfall. When the research becomes a reality, he meets an orphan girl and their weather is put to the test by her connection to the weather.
