Most sold Amazon books last week: Dog Man rises to Top 3

Here’s the full list of most sold Amazon books from Aug. 30 to Sept. 5

One thing we predicted on the list of most sold Amazon books last week was that the new Dog Man book would rise up the list. That’s happened, and here’s a look at the full list from Aug. 30 to Sept. 5.

Dog Man: Grime and Punishment by Dav Pilkey gained eight places to move into the Top 3. It was still beaten by Midnight Sun and Where the Crawdads Sing, but the graphic novel perfect for children of all ages saw the biggest moment up on the list during the week.

Honeysuckle Season by Mary Ellen Taylor was the next highest mover up the list, gaining five places. It lands in 13th place, but this is the first week it’s on the list of most read Amazon books.

The biggest mover down was 1984 by George Orwell. After enjoying a few weeks in the Top 10, it lost nine places to drop into 18th place. Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover wasn’t far behind losing seven places. This led to it dropping into 20th place. Can it hold onto that spot this week?

There were five new books on the list in total. Squeeze Me by Carl Hiaasen narrowly missed out on the Top 5, coming in sixth place. The other books were all in the second half of the list, with Sandra Brown’s Thick as Thieves at the top in 12th place.
