Aug. 30 to Sept. 5 saw very little movement on the list of most read Amazon books

We’re onto a new week, which means looking back at the most popular Amazon books from the previous week. Which books were the most read from Aug. 30 to Sept. 5?

There wasn’t much movement on the list. However, there was a new book to enter the list after being on the most sold list for a few weeks.

More from Amazon Books

Honeysuckle Season by Mary Ellen Taylor entered the list in 15th place. This has been on the list of most sold Amazon books for four weeks now (including last week), so it’s not surprising that it’s finally making it on the list of most read books. There is a chance for it to move up the list.

Speaking of books moving up, The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson gained two places after reentering the list last week. It’s not the only Sanderson book on the list, either. Oathbringer reentered the list, claiming 16th place.

It did mean movement for books further down the list. 28 Summers by Elin Hilderbrand lost four places, landing in 20th place for the week. This is the biggest movement on the list during this week.

As for the Top 10, that was mostly the same. The only change was The Guest List by Lucy Foley losing a spot while Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling gained a spot. This could be a sign of The Guest List losing popularity, mostly because it is an extremely quick read.
