The Twilight book from Edward’s POV holds the top spot on the Amazon books list

It shouldn’t be all that surprising to hear there’s a non-mover at the top of the list of the most sold Amazon books of the week. However, elsewhere on the list there are plenty of exciting new additions.

Midnight Sun continues to hold the top spot on the list for the second week in a row. As the highly anticipated book telling Twilight from Edward Cullen’s point of view, it’s not all too surprising. This has been more than a decade in the works, put to one side due to some chapters being leaked online. Stephenie Meyer said she lost the passion for the book, but she’s found it again.

More from Amazon Books

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens continues to be a book hard to put down. It remains in second place after more than 100 weeks on the list. Meanwhile, The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett moves back into the Top 3.

There is a new book in the Top 5, though. Critical Mass by Craig Alanson enters in fourth place. It was one of the new books on the list of most read Amazon books last week, so that’s not all too surprising.

It wasn’t the only new book on the list, either. The Woods by Harlan Coben joined the list in ninth place. Despite being out for a while and the Netflix series being released in June, this book has only just gained the attention of readers. Many will likely want to know if the ending a little clearer in the book than it was in the TV series.

Further down the list Honeysuckle Season by Mary Ellen Taylor and The Cuckoo’s Cry by Caroline Overington joined the list. A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult re-entered the list.

There was also plenty of movement, with The Order by Daniel Silva seeing the largest drop of 14 places. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins was the largest mover up the list, gaining four places.
