Midnight Sun made it straight to the top of the list of most read Amazon books

The Harry Potter books have been knocked back off the top spot of most read Amazon books of the week. Midnight Sun unsurprisingly claims the top spot.

Name a Twilight fan who wasn’t excited about Midnight Sun. This is the book that tells the first book from Edward’s point of view, something that has been in the works for more than a decade. As soon as it was announced, the book made the top spot on the most sold Amazon books list just through pre-orders.

It did mean the rest of the Top 10 lost a place, at least. The Order by Daniel Silva was knocked out of the Top 10 after losing five places. Lucy Foley’s The Guest List made it into ninth place this week after gaining a spot on the list.

Midnight Sun wasn’t the only new book on the list this week. Critical Mass by Craig Alanson entered the list in 15th place with its Audible entry. It came in just ahead of The Sandman on Audible, which lost another three places this week.

A notable drop on the list was The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games prequel dropped another three places this week. There’s a chance that it will drop off the list this week, depending on the new releases. It’s had a great run.
