Only one book reentered the list of most read Amazon books from Aug. 23 to 29

It’s a new week, which means a chance to see what people are reading right now. The list of most read Amazon books between Aug. 23 and 29 barely moved.

The most notable addition was the reentry of The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. It’s been some time this novel has been on the list, but it reenters in 20th place. There is a chance it will still be here this week. After all, books that were toward the bottom of the list the previous week moved up last week.

The Order by Daniel Silva was the biggest mover, losing three places. That was due to The Ballad of Songbirds and SnakesWhen We Believed in Mermaids, and 28 Summers all moving up a place each.

Other movement on the list involved books moving between themselves. The Sandman and Critical Mass switched places during the week. So did The Guest List and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The Top 5 saw a very small change due to books switching between themselves. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows jumped up a spot, pushing Where the Crawdads Sing down a spot. The rest of the Top 4 remained the same, with Midnight Sun continuing to hold the No. 1 position for the week. Will it be knocked off this week?
