Young Sheldon Season 3 is one of 7 DVD and Blu-ray releases this week

Just in case the new releases on Amazon Prime Video this week weren’t enough, there’s a good selection of DVD and Blu-ray releases on Sept. 1.

There aren’t as many DVD and Blu-ray releases happening this week as there have been in previous weeks. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to look forward to. In fact, you’ll find your choices a little less overwhelming this week.

Young Sheldon Season 3 is going to be one of the big releases of the week. It continues to story of Sheldon Cooper before he became the man we know on The Big Bang Theory. This season sees him struggle with the loss of a mentor when Dr. Sturgis suffers from a nervous breakdown.

The release is going to be well in time for Season 4 to premiere on CBS sometime in late fall.

Another big release is Magnum PI Season 2. This TV crime drama takes us back to Hawaii for this fun and modern reboot and will include the crossover with Hawaii Five-0. You’ll have plenty of time to watch all 20 episodes before Season 3 premieres in late fall at the earliest.

For those who love horror movies, there’s great news. Z is out on DVD and Blu-ray. It focuses on a young boy who suffers from behavioral problems after making an imaginary friend. But what if that imaginary friend isn’t imaginary after all?
