When is Unhinged coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

A look at a predicted Unhinged DVD and Blu-ray release date

Movie theaters are finally opening up after closing in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Unhinged is the first to get a date, but not everyone is going to want to head to theaters to watch.

You may want to wait for the Russell Crowe movie to head to shelves, whether digital or physical. When will Unhinged head to DVD and Blu-ray?

It’s hard to say for certain when the movie is set to go to DVD and Blu-ray. With the movie only just reaching theaters, it’s not going to be for a while.

Usually, we can look at the production studio to see when previous releases went to the physical shelves. However, Unhinged is from Solstice Studios, which was only founded in 2018. There haven’t been enough releases to get an idea.

Most movies will get a 90-day release in theaters. We’re looking at the same happening here, so November 2020 is most likely. We could be looking at Nov. 24 as a release date.

What about Unhinged on Digital?

Not everyone wants the physical disc. And we have no idea what the pandemic is going to look like in November, meaning shops could be closed again. With any hope, they won’t, but what if you need the Digital release?

This usually happens a week or two before the DVD release date, so we’re looking at the beginning of November as a potential time frame. Some Digital releases happen on the same day. It’s hard to tell what Solstice will choose to do.

What are critics saying?

Unhinged follows a young woman who becomes the victim of an unpredictable and dangerous man. After a road rage incident, this man follows her and threatens her life. Can she get out of the situation alive?

Critics and audiences are mixed on the movie right now. While audiences rate it with a 70% score on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 40% score from the critics at the time of writing.
