Of course, you need to know what the movie is about and why it’s something to watch.

Why The Peanut Butter Falcon is worth watching

On the surface, The Peanut Butter Falcon looks like many other underdog movies. There are a few things that make it stand out, mostly being that Zak is a man with Down syndrome and played by an actor with Down syndrome. It’s an important thing we need to praise the casting for because it’s so important to have representation on the screen in main roles.

How does it get around being a movie you’ve probably seen before? It’s all in the character development and the acting. The writing is so beautifully done. You’ll laugh, cry, scream with joy, and even hold on to the edges of your seats as you wait to see if one man can achieve his dream. There’s a passion behind the project that translates so perfectly on the screen.

Zack Gottsagen and Shia LaBeouf are the perfect partnership. While Dakota Johnson certainly shows off more acting skills than any of the 50 Shades of Grey movies, it’s all about the two men and this journey of friendship and support.

It’s a movie with messages for all. Make sure you watch it at least once.
