Watch The Peanut Butter Falcon now streaming on Amazon Prime Video

You may only have time for one movie tonight. That’s okay because there’s one movie new to Prime Video tonight that you’ll want to check out. The Peanut Butter Falcon is now streaming.

When you hear the name Shia LaBeouf, you’ll likely think of Transformers and the fallout that came after that. He had a bad run, but that changed a few years ago. In 2019, he brought out two great movies, Honey Boy and The Peanut Butter Falcon. Now you can watch both with your Prime membership.

It’s also a special movie as it marks feature film directorial debuts for both Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz. What a way to start their feature film careers. Zack Gottsagen starred in the lead role, his first feature role. It was a big start for many.

What is The Peanut Butter Falcon about?

This is a movie many of you will have been waiting for. The Peanut Butter Falcon is about a man with Down syndrome, who escapes a residential care home to chase his dreams. That dream…it’s only to become a wrestler.

Most people would laugh. They’d entertain it on a small level but not help in any way. That’s not the case with Tyler. After initially leaving Zak behind, Tyler has some empathy for the man and decides to become an ally and coach for Zak to reach his dreams.

The movie overall is a standard feelgood movie. It’s the writing and acting that capture the heart. On Rotten Tomatoes, critics rate it Certified Fresh with a 96% approval rating. Audiences like it just the same.
