6. The Blacklist Season 7

When it comes to TV crime dramas, there are plenty of them getting DVD and Blu-ray releases this month. If you had to just pick one, which one would it be? Opt for The Blacklist Season 7.

Katarina Rostova is now in the story after “returning from the dead” at the end of the sixth season. Red needs to escape her capture, while Liz has to figure out who to trust. This is also an extra special season that saw a graphic novel animation element to the season finale due to filming being halted part way through the episode.

The Blacklist Season 7 is on DVD and Blu-ray on Aug. 11.

5. The Terror: Infamy

There have been many horror shows in recent years. One of those is getting a DVD release date. The Terror: Infamy will arrive during August and is a must-watch. Whether you saw the season on AMC or you are yet to catch up on it, you need to get the DVD so you can binge-watch with ease.

The Terror: Infamy, also known as The Terror Season 2, tells the story of Japanese internment during the Second World War. There’s the Japanese ghost mythology mixed in, with one ghost constantly haunting a young man who is just trying to survive the injustices of war. The question is why this ghost is haunting him and what she wants.

The Terror: Infamy is on DVD and Blu-ray on Aug. 18.
