A look at any releases on Amazon Prime Video this weekend

It’s another weekend, which means you’re looking at streaming services to offer you something to watch. Amazon Prime Video is often a place to turn, but is there anything new on this weekend, July 25-26?

Sadly, there’s nothing new. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to watch.

More from Amazon

Just like previous weeks, there were some releases today that you can certainly watch throughout the weekend. This is also a good time to get caught up on Absentia Season 3 if you haven’t already. It’s the strongest season of the series so far.

Radioactive and the Jim Gaffigan comedy special

For the adults in the house, there are two offerings that you’ll want to watch this weekend on Amazon Prime Video. The first is Radioactive, a movie that focuses on the life and work of Marie Curie.

For those who want something more lighthearted, you’ll want to turn to Jim Gaffigan: The Pale Tourist two-part special. He heads to Canada and Spain, where he does research into the culture, tastes the food, and talks to the people. Then he does a standup routine about everything.

Something for the children

If you have children in the house, this is a good time to be an Amazon Prime Video subscriber. New episodes of Give a Mouse a Cookie dropped on July 24.

It won’t take up too much time, but you have time to get the housework done if you’re behind. Or you can read a book while the kids get a little screentime this weekend. It’s completely up to you!

What to look forward to

  • Good Deeds (2012) – July 27
