5 most watched Amazon Prime Video titles in June 2020
Knives Out was the most watched movie on Amazon Prime Video in June
There were some excellent additions to Amazon Prime Video throughout June. Whether you wanted comedy or horror, there was something to pick.
Knives Out and My Spy were among the biggest releases. It shouldn’t be all that surprising that they were both among the most watched titles on Amazon Prime Video in June 2020.
You can check out the full list of top nine additions, but here are the top five from the list. Did you watch them all?
Knives Out
Of course, the most watched movie was the Daniel Craig murder mystery Knives Out. There was everything to watch in this. It brought a star-studded cast but didn’t overuse everyone. They all had their roles to play, as we figured out the murder mystery along with the detectives and Craig’s hilarious Poirot-esque detective.
Those who love Agatha Christie murder mysteries would adore this movie. There’s certainly a need for a sequel, even with a completely different cast other than Craig!

The second movie to hit the list was My Spy, which dropped on Amazon Prime Video at the end of June. It was another highly-anticipated movie but for different reasons to Knives Out.
This was one of those movies that was supposed to hit theaters when the coronavirus hit. Instead, the release was delayed and then arranged to go directly to Amazon Prime Video. Even if the movie wasn’t a critic’s choice, it was certainly one for the audiences!
Shrek Forever After
We all needed something for the kids. Is it all too surprising that a kid’s movie made it to the top five movies watched in June? In fact, further down the list, How to Train Your Dragon also made it.
Shrek Forever After isn’t the best Shrek movie, but it’s still wholly enjoyable for the kids. It brings some excellent moments, gives us Fiona in a vastly different form, and allows us the chance to learn a few lessons about appreciating life for what it is.
LOL: Last One Laughing Australia
There was one TV show on the list of most watched Amazon Prime Video titles during June. It was all about LOL: Last One Laughing Australia, hosted by Rebel Wilson. I’m glad this got some attention because it wasn’t heavily promoted by Amazon at all!
The series sees a bunch of comedians battle it out to see who can make their opponents last. Whoever is the last one laughing will win the $100,000 prize that’s on the line.
Crawl
Finally, it’s all about Crawl. This is one of those horrors that looked like it would flop based on the promo. However, it was a big success with audiences, so it’s no wonder that fans have flocked to Amazon Prime Video to watch it.
If you like disaster movies with a horror twist, this is certainly one for you. Watch out for what’s in the water.
