A list of the new movies and TV shows on Amazon Prime Video in July

Whether you’re into action or comedy, there is something for you to watch on Amazon Prime Video in July 2020. Here’s the complete list of new movies and TV shows arriving to the service.

There are certainly some notable mentions, the first being the new seasons of Hanna and Absentia. Both are exciting TV shows, bringing action in vastly different ways. In one, we have a 16-year-old who has been created to be a soldier. In another, we have a woman simply trying to get her life back in order but international crime getting in the way.

Then there’s the arrival of Radioactive. This is a biopic about Marie Curie, the 19th century scientist who, with her husband Pierre, discovers radioactivity. The two win the Nobel Prize in physics, making Marie the first woman to win the esteemed prize. Rosamund Pike stars as the legendary scientist with Sam Riley as her husband, Pierre.

For those who want to laugh, Jim Gaffigan has another comedy special on the way. You can also watch Will Smith in Hitch, which will be free on Prime at the start of the month.

For the children, Megamind is joining the streaming service in the month of July. There are also new episodes of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, which is a firm favorite in our house!

When it comes to the Amazon Channels offerings, there are a few seasons that will be available for free to trial. Some of the most notable include the first season of Hidden on Acorn TV and Season 17 of Antiques Roadshow from PBS Living. You’ll need a subscription to the various channels for all other seasons.

Suits Season 9 is on the list. This is a surprising addition considering Peacock has made a huge deal about the show heading there. Just keep the Peacock release in mind. It’s possible that the legal drama won’t be on Prime for much longer.
