Amazon Video: What’s on Digital this week, June 23?
What can you watch on Amazon Video this week?
It’s a quiet week when it comes to Digital releases. There isn’t much on the way to Amazon Video between June 22 and 26.
That doesn’t mean there’s absolutely nothing to watch this week. While June 23 doesn’t have any new releases, there is a new movie heading to Digital on June 26.
This may change as the week goes on. Sometimes there are last-minute additions to the list. DVD Release Dates has all the latest information on DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital releases.
Resistance arrives on Friday
While there isn’t anything coming on June 23, you can watch a new movie on June 26. Resistance arrives on Amazon Video and other digital platforms. It was officially released on March 27 in theaters, but of course, this was at the time theaters were closed because of the coronavirus.

It’s easy to see why the movie went under the radar. However, it’s certainly worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of Jesse Eisenberg.
He stars as Marcel Mangel, a struggling Jewish actor who wants to become a theater star. Instead, he joins his father’s butcher business. As the Nazi regime takes over France, Marcel watches as his brothers and friends work with the French Resistance to protect the Jews.
Marcel has the chance to use his acting skills. He entertains the Jewish orphans, many of them scared young survivors of the war. He also needs to work with his brother and others to get refugees to safety as it’s clear occupation is about to happen.
The King of Staten Island still available
Of course, you can choose to look back to last week. The King of Staten Island is still available to rent on Amazon Video.
This is a beautiful tale about grief—and certainly not the most standard tale you’re used to. Based on Pete Davidson’s real life, it will shine a light on the comedian’s life in a way you’ve never known before.
