5 big questions for Penny Dreadful: City of Angels Episode 7
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels Episode 6 left us with burning questions
Tiago and Lewis certainly made a questionable decision on Penny Dreadful: City of Angels Episode 6. It’s just one of the storylines we’re focusing on as we look ahead at what’s to come.
In the end, the episode left us with some burning questions. After all, multiple storylines pushed forward, showing us the realities of the time that leave us extremely uncomfortable now.
It’s an important episode for history while also being an important episode for the plot. These are the biggest questions for Episode 7.
What’s next for Tiago and Lewis?
Ugh, one of the worst parts of the whole series has been watching Tiago and Lewis become on of those cops. In an effort to save Mateo, they’ve pinned the murder of not just the racist cop but the family from the beginning of the series on Diego. They looked sad about doing this, but they decided it was better than getting the real killer.

Honestly? I hoped for better from Lewis. He actually seemed to want to find the real murderers. Instead, he’s just become another bystander in a growing war. And Tiago has completely turned against everything he wanted to change.
Is there any coming back for them? And is there any salvaging their partnership considering Lewis went against his own moral code to save Tiago’s brother (who definitely doesn’t deserve saving).
What will Peter Craft do now Elsa is in the home?
Peter has given into Elsa’s charms. He wants to get his wife out of the way, but he isn’t looking to divorce. Instead, he wants to take everything from Linda and send her to an asylum. Oh, and Linda has no choice in the matter at all. If she puts up a fight, she will never see her children again.
So, what’s next for this family? Those poor boys are going to be terrorized by Elsa’s fake child. Elsa is going to get deeper into Craft’s mind, getting him to give into his Nazi ways even more. I fear for Maria.
How deep will Mateo get into the fight?
Craft isn’t the only one who’s at risk of Magda’s allure. Mateo is getting himself deeper and deeper into this gang. He had a chance to get out with his mom, but he kicked Maria out.
Tiago’s actions aren’t going to help the guy. Now I get why he’s so angry. If someone had done what Reilly did to Josefina to my sister in front of me, I’d be out for blood. But Mateo is getting into a dangerous circle of friends in a town where everyone is against him. How can this end except for Mateo to be killed?
What does Townsend really believe in?
I’m so torn on Townsend’s character. At one point, he wants to bulldoze a whole community. At another point, he shows signs of not really being on the Nazi’s side. So, where exactly does he stand? Has he found a way to get out of Magda’s grasp?
During the episode, Townsend told Kurt that LA doesn’t care who people are when they arrive. It’s all about who they become, but that doesn’t sit right considering his views about the Mexicans. So does it only apply to white people? Or is Townsend changing his own views?

Will Maria figure out who Rio really is?
I wondered if Maria was going to notice something in Rio when she faced her. Maria didn’t say anything, but then, that may be because Maria does have a head on her shoulders. There’s a chance she’s biding her time.
If she didn’t sense something about Rio, there’s a chance she’ll sense something soon. With Elsa in Peter Craft’s house, surely Maria will recognize something about Rio in Elsa. Could this be the clue that helps to bring everything down for Natalie Dormer’s character?
