Will The High Note stream on Amazon Prime Video in the future?
Where will The High Note be available to stream in the future?
The High Note is the latest movie to get a straight-to-digital release during the current health pandemic. It’s available to rent on Amazon Video and other digital platforms, but all eyes are on when and where it will stream for free in the future. Will it be available on Amazon Prime Video free with your Prime membership?
Due to it being a Focus Features movie, it’s highly unlikely that The High Note will be part of your Amazon Prime Video lineup. Movies from the production studio tend to head to HBO. It’s also likely that it will head to HBO Max, since the new streaming service has a lot of HBO content.

That doesn’t mean the movie will never head to Prime. However, the HBO releases usually last a few years before the end of the licensing agreement and a new streaming service is able to grab it.
Watching The High Note online
You’ll be able to rent The High Note through Amazon Video for some time. It will eventually be available to purchase, but this isn’t likely until the movie is out on DVD and Blu-ray in a few months’ time.
When it comes to HBO, you will be able to watch on Prime with Amazon Channels. HBO remains one of the Amazon Channels available. Note that HBO Max isn’t yet part of the Amazon Channels lineup, although it is available directly or through Hulu’s subscription add-ons.
Once The High Note is on HBO, it will be added as part of the Amazon Channels additions.
