The Vega family is torn. As Mateo gets himself deeper into a world of trouble, Tiago tries to balance life as a Mexican and as a cop. It’s definitely not easy. Then there’s Josefina, who is starting to turn to Sister Molly for some help.

But is Sister Molly someone she can trust? Tiago has learned that Sister Molly was attached to one of the victims in a romantic setting. It would suggest that Molly had something to do with his death, but was it actually her mother? Molly certainly seemed scared of her mother at the end of the previous episode.

Then there’s the Peter Craft and Elsa storyline. He’s gaining a deeper connection for her, which makes sense. They’re both from the same country and both faced some similar problems due to the restrictions put on Germany after the First World War. Well, at least, that’s what Craft believes. We know Elsa isn’t who she says she is.

When Craft invites Elsa to his home for a garden party, Craft’s wife, Linda, is suspicious. She wants to find a way to break what seems like an infatuation between the two.

Finally, we have Lewis’s storyline. Our detective isn’t just burying friends. He wants to get to the bottom of the Nazi situation and prevent the Third Reich from gaining power in LA. That means turning to the mob. You know that’s not going to end well.
