Room 104 returns to HBO for fourth and final season in July 2020

There’s some good and bad news for fans of HBO’s Room 104. The horror anthology is returning with its fourth season in July, but it’s the last.

Are you ready for another season of Room 104 HBO on? Of course, you are! Well, while there’s the good news of a return date, there’s also some bad news. Season 4 is going to be the final season.

Room 104 Season 4 will premiere on HBO on Friday, July 24. The first episode drops at 11 p.m. ET/PT, available on HBO, HBO Go, HBO Now, and all distribution partners. You’ll be able to watch with HBO through Amazon Channels.

There will be 12 episodes to the series, each half an hour long as before. Like all previous seasons, each episode will focus on a different set of characters who stay in Room 104 at a typical American chain motel. The tone, time period, and plot will continually change, bringing 12 exciting and terrifying episodes.

Room 104 Season 4, Episode 1 is going to be an extra special episode. Mark Duplass has written the script, directed, composed the music, and stars in the episode. It’s the first time this has happened.

For those worried about abrupt endings, there’s no need to panic for the final season of the series. All 12 episodes finished filming last year. They have now been through post-production in full and are ready for us. COVID-19 is not stopping Room 104 Season 4.

Deadline reports there are some interesting storylines taking place. One of those involves a dollhouse that transports people through time.

If you haven’t checked out the horror anthology yet, you’ve got plenty of time. All three seasons are currently available on HBO. Each episode is only 30 minutes long, so there’s plenty of time within the next two months.
